Skiing Dolomites
Skiing Dolomites is possible in Trentino, South Tyrol, Veneto and in a small part of Carnia (German: Karnien), in Friuli- Venezia Giulia. Südtirol in the Dolomites lies the biggest and most famous ski resort of the world, the “Dolomiti Superski”. It just doesn’t offer eight sunny days out of ten, but queues at the ski- and chairlifts have been eliminated. Skiing Dolomites is possible from November till April; ski and chair-lifts are very modern and allow you to pass from one valley to the other without even taking your skis off. The skipass is electronic and valid in every valley. Skiing in the Dolomites is possible for children as well, as here they can count on many ski kindergartens, easy ski runs and specialized instructors for them.
